Advanced Placement

The Advanced Placement (AP) program provides high-school students with academically demanding college-level courses and exams that in some cases earn college credit.

Albany High School and the City School District of Albany's middle schools offer students a variety of Advanced Placement courses. In fact, Albany High is a Capital Region leader with 21 AP courses available to its students, and few schools in the state have more students taking AP exams each year!

District makes AP honor roll

The City School District of Albany has made the annual Advanced Placement honor roll, one of only two districts in the Capital Region and 477 in the U.S. and Canada to receive the distinction. (MORE)
