District seeks input on Code of Conduct

ALBANY, N.Y. (May 10, 2017) -- Tell us what you think.

The City School District of Albany wants student, family and community feedback on its Student Code of Conduct – a guide for expected student behavior – at one of two meetings this month.

The meetings will be held:

  • Monday, May 15 from 6-7 p.m. in the media center at Harriet Gibbons Student Services Center, 75 Watervliet Ave.

  • Tuesday, May 23 from 6-7 p.m. in the media center at Albany High School, 700 Washington Ave.

In addition to hearing from students, families and community members, school district officials will be on hand to discuss what’s in the 2016-17 Code of Conduct and feedback the district has received on the document to date. They also will answer questions.

For more information, contact 475-6130.

The mission of the City School District of Albany is to educate and prepare all students for college and career, citizenship and life, in partnership with our diverse community. The district serves more than 9,600 students in 17 elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood schools, the district includes several magnet schools and programs, as well as other innovative academic opportunities for students, including four themed academies at Albany High School.
