Elementary Art Show draws large turnout
ALBANY, N.Y. (May
8, 2017) – The 4th Annual Elementary
Art Show at the Albany Institute of History & Art drew a crowd of 460
visitors on Friday evening to view the work of talented artists from
elementary schools throughout the City School District of Albany.
Along with the unveiling of the students’
artwork, the evening also included musical performances by Stephen and
Harriet Myers Middle School’s brass and windwood ensembles.
Up next from the Art Department are showings
at William S. Hackett Middle School on May 10, Albany High School’s
Creative Arts Festival on May 11, and at Myers Middle School on May 24.
