Albany High Masterminds team playoff-bound after division title

ALBANY, N.Y. (April 7, 2017) -- Congratulations to the Albany High School Masterminds team for winning its division during the regular season!

 

The team went 10-2 and now is preparing for the playoffs, which begin later this spring.

 

Masterminds is a team academic competition for high school students. There are 30 teams competing in five divisions throughout the Capital Region. Albany High’s Masterminds division includes Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Waterford, LaSalle, CBA and Watervliet. Check out the Masterminds website for more information.

 

Albany High’s JV Masterminds team also won its division this season with a perfect 12-0 record.

The mission of the City School District of Albany is to educate and prepare all students for college and career, citizenship and life, in partnership with our diverse community. The district serves more than 9,600 students in 17 elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood schools, the district includes several magnet schools and programs, as well as other innovative academic opportunities for students, including four themed academies at Albany High School.
