Myers teachers stand out among regional peers

ALBANY, N.Y. (Dec. 22, 2016) -- Two Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School teachers have been recognized for excellence among their peers in the region.

WNYT/Ch. 13 has recognized special-education teacher Cindy Clo as one of 13 top teachers in the Capital Region for the 2016-17 school year. WNYT will profile Clo later this winter. You also can read about Clo in the fall edition of “Capital Education.”

The New York State Technology Education and Engineering Association has recognized technology teacher Melissa Hirt as its Regional Teacher of the Year. The organization also has nominated Hirt for its statewide Teacher of the Year award.

Congratulations to both Myers teachers on this outstanding recognition!
