Pre-K open houses in February
N.Y. (Jan. 31, 2019) -- The City School District of Albany’s
Office of Early Childhood will hold four open houses during February to
give families an opportunity to tour and ask questions about a typical

Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2:30-4:30 p.m. – A Child’s Place
at Unity, 50 Philip St.
Thursday, Feb. 7, 5-6 p.m. – Pine Hills Elementary
School, 41 North Allen St.
Monday, Feb. 11, 5-6 p.m. – New Scotland Elementary
Tuesday, Feb. 12, 4:30-5:30 p.m. – Temple Israel,
600 New Scotland Ave.
For the 2019-20 school year, the district will offer full-day
pre-K in our nine neighborhood elementary schools, our three themed
magnet schools, our bilingual Dual Language Program and at 18 community
agencies throughout Albany.
Pre-K spots are enrolled by lottery and families are encouraged to
apply to have the best chance of getting the seat of their choice.
