ALBANY, N.Y. (Feb. 9, 2018) -- The swimming pool at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School will be closed until Feb. 26 for cleaning.

Community swimming, normally offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, will be on hold until the pool reopens.

In general, the Myers pool is open from 6-8 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday throughout the year when school is in session. Swimming is not offered on Mondays or Wednesdays when school is closed.

Mondays are reserved for people 50 and over. Wednesdays are a family swim night; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a free activity.

Swimmers can enter the building at 5:30 p.m. after signing in at the front desk. Please be prepared to show ID. Lifeguards will open the pool at 6 p.m. Please bring your own towels.
