Upcoming OSHA 10 training

ALBANY, N.Y. (Dec. 14, 2018) – The City School District of Albany will be offering another free OSHA 10 training this January.

This two-part training will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12 and Saturday, Jan. 26. Both sessions are from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Pine Hills Elementary School, located at 41 North Allen St.

The OSHA 10-hour program is required for construction workers. This free training is intended to help individuals meet that requirement and provide awareness of how to recognize and prevent safety hazards on-site. Please note that attendance at both sessions is required.

Because the number of free seats is limited, advance registration is required by Friday, Dec. 28. To pre-register, people can contact James Mitchell of Mission Accomplished Transition Services at (518) 831-0992 or jmitchell@matransitionservices.org.

This training is part of our ongoing commitment to workforce development. To learn more, visit albanyschools.org/rebuildingAHS.

The mission of the City School District of Albany is to educate and prepare all students for college and career, citizenship and life, in partnership with our diverse community. The district serves approximately 9,500 students in 18 elementary, middle and high schools. In addition to neighborhood schools, the district includes several magnet schools and programs, as well as other innovative academic opportunities for students, including four themed academies at Albany High School.
