The City School District of Albany and its more than 1,700 full-time faculty and staff strive to provide an academically challenging, safe and welcoming experience for all students.
The district serves about 8,800 students in 16 schools: 12 elementary schools, three middle schools and Albany High School, a comprehensive high school with a career and technical education center. The district also offers additional innovative academic opportunities for students in support of our vision, mission and goals.
The district has developed our guiding princples, as well as the district's first Equity in Education Policy to lead our work in all areas as we work together with our diverse community to raise achievement for each of our students.
