Cheer team earns silver

The Albany High School varsity cheerleading team placed second in the Suburban Council Championships for the winter 2020 competition season.

At the same competition, junior Diavion Brown and freshman TruQuan Scott received Suburban Council All-Star nominations and Scott also received the Top Gun jumper.

The squad competes again on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at Columbia High School.
