Falcons soar on senior night: a celebration of leadership and victory

Senior Aiden Kelly with family

On Tuesday evening, the Albany High School bowling team honored seniors Aiden Kelly and Roman Philpot in a heartwarming ceremony prior to the Falcons’ match against Colonie.

Coach Alicia Arasim presented each senior with a personalized bowling pin signed by their teammates, and a blue rose to celebrate their leadership on the team and dedication to their sport.

Kelly has been a member of the varsity team for six years, currently boasting an impressive 215 average. Philpot, a four-year varsity bowler, has a 155 average.

The Falcons then celebrated the evening with an outstanding performance as a team in a 17-15 victory over Colonie. Highlights included:

  • Kelly bowled a remarkable 744 series with a high game of 263.
  • Declan Paulsen delivered a strong performance with a 620 series and a high game of 253.
  • Devin Moulden contributed towards the win with a high game of 244.

Come cheer on our Falcons at their next match as they face off against CBA at Green Island Lanes on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.

Let’s go Falcons!
