Albany High School’s basketball teams are getting ready for the playoffs!
The girls’ team enters the postseason ranked No. 21 in the latest statewide Class AAA poll and seeded third in Section 2. The Falcons (16-4) will take on No. 6 Saratoga in the quarterfinals on Wednesday at Albany High School. Game time is 6 p.m. The Falcons beat the Blue Streaks 68-16 in their Dec. 16 matchup.
The boys’ team is seeded No. 5 in Section 2 Class AAA. The Falcons (12-6) will take on No. 4 CBA on Sunday, March 2 in the quarterfinals at Hudson Valley Community College. Game time is 11:30 a.m. The Falcons beat the Brothers 59-58 in their lone meeting of the regular season.
