Falcons face off against the Blackhawks

Albany High player defending the ball

On Tuesday, our Albany High varsity boys’ lacrosse team took to the field on a beautiful spring evening to compete against the undefeated Voorheesville Blackhawks. The Falcons gave their all in a hard-fought match, but ultimately fell short, losing the game, 14-4.

Sophomore Pearse Sagaas thrilled Falcon fans by scoring two goals, while senior Jack Colman had an outstanding performance in net, achieving 21 saves. Colman continues to set his single season and career record with 96 saves on the season and 216 career saves!

Check out our Facebook album of photos from the competition, and be sure to come out and support our Falcons this Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at the Albany High Turf Stadium as they face off against Scotia-Glenville!

Let's go Falcons!
