Attention students in grades 4-12: Albany Winter Guard wants you!
The Albany Winter Guard is a division of the Albany Marching Falcons. Winter guard combines the precision skills of marching band color guards (using flags and other props) with the grace and agility of gymnastics and the choreography of a dance ensemble. Albany Winter Guard teams practice and compete inside during the cold weather.
Interested students can attend practices Monday or Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Albany School of Humanities, 108 Whitehall Road. The deadline to join is Oct. 30.
