The Albany Center Gallery has selected six Albany High School students to participate in the 19th Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition.
The students’ work will be on display at the gallery April 24 through May 18.
The exhibit will feature work by 100 high school students from 24 Capital Region schools. They were selected from more than 500 pieces submitted.
The talented Albany High artists whose work was selected are:
- Alexia Buddeau, sophomore, “Self portrait”
- Marie Sealtiel Delima, junior, “Untitled”
- Sophia Doehla, freshman, “Untitled”
- Jessica Johnson, junior, “OCD”
- Shahad Mohammed, senior, “Untitled”
- Kiara Stovall, junior, “Slow and Steady”
The gallery will hold a reception for students, their families and schools from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 3.
The Albany Center Gallery is located at 488 Broadway. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
