All are invited to celebrate the start of the second phase of the Rebuilding Albany High School project at a groundbreaking ceremony Saturday, June 1. The event also will include opportunities to tour the construction site for the first phase of the project, which is currently in progress and scheduled to be completed in January.
- The Phase 2 groundbreaking celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the front of school, in the old Washington Avenue parking lot.
- The Phase 1 tours will begin at 9:15 a.m. in the back of the school, which is accessible from the North Main Avenue entrance.
Tour information
Four tour groups will be available serving a maximum of 20 people in each group. Tours will begin at 9:15 a.m., 9:25 a.m., 9:35 a.m., and 9:45 a.m. Each tour will last about 30 minutes.
