Upcoming free OSHA 10 training

OSHA 10 training

The City School District of Albany, in partnership with Turner Construction Co. and Capital Safety Services, is offering another free OSHA 10 Training.

This two-part training for up to 30 individuals will be held on Saturday, June 2 and Saturday, June 9. Both sessions are from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at William S. Hackett Middle School, located at 45 Delaware Ave. The sessions will be held in the cafeteria, and parking will be available in the rear of the building.

The OSHA 10-hour Program is required for construction workers. This free training is intended to help individuals meet that requirement and provide awareness of how to recognize and prevent safety hazards on-site. Please note that attendance at both sessions is required.

Because the number of free seats is limited, advance registration is required by Wednesday, May 30. To pre-register, people can contact Director of Facilities Planning Ben Marra at bmarra@albany.k12.ny.us or (518) 475-6109.
