2018 Music Faculty Concert

Faculty Concert

The talents of the City School District of Albany’s music department were on display for students, families, staff and community members during the annual Music Faculty Concert at Albany High School on Jan. 25.

New this year, the district’s art teachers showcased their skills as well, with a gallery of their artwork in the main lobby.

The event is sponsored by the Albany Friends of Music, a non-profit affiliate of the Albany Fund for Education that provides support for music in our schools, including its instrument donation initiative.

Aside from being a truly memorable and entertaining night, the event raised more than $600 to help fund music in our schools. For more information or to join the Albany Friends of Music, contact president Anne Penna at fipenna@yahoo.com or visit their website.
