Summer school begins Monday, July 8
Oct. 2 – the City School District of Albany will offer the first of four Special Education trainings in partnership with the Parent Network of the Capital Region.
This training will cover “Cracking the Code: Understanding Graduation Options for Students with Disabilities,” and run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Albany High School’s Model UN Room.
Join us and other families as we explore the graduation and diploma options available to students with disabilities, including the Career Development and Occupational Studies Credential (CDOS) and the Skills and Achievement Commencement Credential (SACC). Discover essential but often-overlooked skills needed for life after high school, and learn how to use your student's IEP transition plan to gain them.
