Perspectives in Online Learning: Haley Goodwin

"During this difficult time, we are all dealing with challenges that none of us ever anticipated. Time and time again, our students have proved to us how resilient they can be. From balancing their chores and responsibilities at home to navigating this new online learning platform, they have developed their skills as lifelong learners to persist and overcome change, and proved to be some of the strongest individuals I’ve ever met."

"To me, online learning looks like students and teachers working together in order to reduce the barriers to learning. For some, that means learning new technology, or even just setting our weekly goals. It’s late-night notifications and math problems, but it’s also seeing students who had once given up find new hope. I am so proud to be a part of the City School District of Albany and the Tony Clement community, and be able to experience the way we have been able to come together and lend a helping hand to families and students during this time of need."
