Perspectives in Online Learning: Jayden Trombley

"The COVID-19 pandemic drastically altered my first year of middle school. Most days it feels like the only thing that has changed is the date on the calendar."

"Teachers are now posting assignments on Google Classroom. Although we are still able to learn, the work is much harder than I originally imagined. Usually classwork is presented on paper or displayed on the smartboard, however since the pandemic, we now utilize a website called Nearpod."

"The daily Google meetings are enjoyable because I get to see my friends and teachers. It is the best method to communicate with my teachers and classmates during this quarantine. During the school year my favorite classes were gym and music. However, due to current circumstances, I have a newfound appreciation for social studies."

"All of the online methods of learning do not compare to actually being in a classroom, but I am very optimistic about how much this learning process will improve."
