"Firstly, I feel so cheated by the pandemic. It has stolen the day-to-day interactions and opportunities that I enjoyed with the students that can never get back."
"During the building closure, I have been supporting my students and their families by delivering internet hot spots and Chromebooks to those without access to technology. I also conduct welfare checks and provide support and anything else that a family needs."
"In addition, I have been privileged to participate in the district’s daily food delivery program since March. This experience has been so humbling and reminded me of the importance of the breakfast and lunch programs and how much our families depend on them."
