The City School District of Albany will offer summer school to more than 2,000 students in kindergarten-grade 12 to bolster their existing academic skills and prepare them to succeed in the next grade.
Almost all programs will be online, similar to instruction that took place this spring during COVID-19 school building closures. The exception is the Extended School Year program for students with disabilities, which will take place at Montessori Magnet School.
Students will attend based on teacher or administrator recommendation and academic performance during the 2019-20 school year. Families were notified by mail about summer school.
