Sensory integration refers to how humans experience and react to sound, light or touch. People with autism may have difficulty with sensory integration, and the City School District of Albany will hold a virtual training on Tuesday to explain how and why that is.
The training is Tuesday from 6-7 p.m. and is open to family members, educators and any others interested in learning more. The training also will provide strategies and activities to support students with sensory integration issues at home, at school and in the community.
The virtual meeting will be held as a Google Meet. Get a link to the meeting here.
