Roll up your sleeve and help save a few lives on June 2 at Albany High School’s third and final blood drive of the school year.
The drive will be held at Abrookin Career and Technical Center in room A31. Eligible students (age 16 and up), staff and community members are invited to donate and must register online. Appointments are available between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Students who are 16 need this permission form signed by a parent or guardian in order to donate. In addition, community members will need to bring a driver’s license or New York State ID and students and staff will need their school ID Everyone is encouraged to have their donor app/donor card.
Every pint of blood collected at the drive will result in the American Red Cross donating scholarship dollars to Maggie Papa, this year’s student blood drive coordinator.
As a bonus, donors will receive a card for a free pint of Stewart’s Ice Cream
