Free COVID-19 vaccines for ages 5+ at Myers

The Albany County Health Department will administer free COVID-19 vaccines for all eligible individuals age 5 and older at Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School on Tuesday, Dec. 14, from 4:30-7 p.m. 

General clinic reminders:

  • Arrive wearing a mask and practice social distancing regardless of vaccination status
  • All persons aged 5+ years old are eligible to receive the vaccine
  • All persons 15 and under will be required to attend the clinic with a parent or guardian
  • All persons 16 and 17 arriving without a parent or guardian will be required to arrive with a signed NYS COVID-19 immunization Screening and Consent Form
  • No insurance, social security number or medical paperwork needed
  • No fee or cost for the vaccine – it is FREE

COVID-19 vaccine formulas and doses offered:

  • If you received your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the Myers clinic on Nov. 24, then you are already scheduled to receive your second dose at Myers on Dec. 14 for the same time as your Nov. 24 appointment. An email and/or text reminder will be sent on the evening of Monday, Dec. 13. You do not need to re-register.
  • Pediatric Pfizer first and second doses for children 5-11
    • The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is a two-part vaccine. Individuals receiving their first dose on Dec. 14 will be scheduled for a second dose Jan. 4
