As we prepare to return to school on Monday following Winter Recess, the City School District of Albany would like to share a few reminders related to COVID-19 protocols.
If you picked up a COVID-19 test kit at your school before the break, please remember to use one test Friday and the second test Sunday. Report any positive cases to the school nurse – you can find the contact information on your school’s page – and to the Albany County Health Department.
If you did not have an opportunity to pick up up a COVID-19 test kit at school before the break, you can do so Monday. Please use one test at home Monday evening and report any positive results as noted above.
Also, masks continued to be required inside all district buildings, regardless of vaccination status. We will continue to watch for updated guidance from the state, and will share that information as it becomes available.
