Thanks to our amazing community partners at the New York State Teachers' Retirement System, Delaware Community School has brand-new backpacks, folders, markers, pencils and LOTS of other back-to-school supplies.
The Cares Committee of the Teachers Retirement System raised funds, bought the supplies and donated them, and Dali Santiago from TRS dropped off the supplies Tuesday.
Delaware Community School Principal Stacy Dobbs, Ph.D., Home School Coordinator Kenny Griffith and Community Engagement Coordinator Cathy Edmondson were on hand to gratefully accept the supplies.
