Jah’Quil Thompson was chosen to compete for the 2022 Heart of a Giant Award!
The award is presented by Hospital for Special Surgery and the New York Giants to a student-athlete with a relentless work ethic and unmatched love for the game.
The senior quarterback was nominated by Coach Mike Ware and Athletic Director Ashley Chapple for his values of commitment, character, teamwork and dedication. He also runs winter and spring track for Albany High School.
Eleven finalists will be chosen via an online voting competition for a $1000 equipment grant for their school’s football program with one winner ultimately receiving an additional $10,000 equipment grant and trophy.
