The City School District of Albany Hall of Fame has extended the annual nomination deadline to April 1.
The nomination deadline previously has been Feb. 1 each year. The Executive Committee voted to extend that timeframe to April 1 to provide more time for community members to research and submit new nominations.
If you would like to nominate a candidate for consideration, please visit our Hall of Fame section to complete the online nomination form.
Following the close of the nomination period, the Selection Committee will meet in the spring to review nominations, including both new candidates as well as candidates who have been nominated in the past but not selected for induction. Once the committee has made its selections, the district will announce the new Hall of Fame class prior to the end of the current school year.
Induction ceremonies will continue to be held each fall.
