Parent-teacher conferences Thursday, Friday

The City School District of Albany will hold parent-teacher conferences at all schools on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday from noon-3 p.m. 

These meetings are critical pieces of the home-school relationship that supports our students’ academic and personal success. If you have not yet had an opportunity to make an appointment to meet with your student’s teacher or teachers, you can call school and make one.

Please note that there is no school Friday, and district's Central Registration Office at 75 Watervliet Ave. will be closed for walk-in registration on that day. You can still register a student online. All other district administrative offices will be open Friday.

After-school updates for this Thursday

For this Thursday’s parent-teacher conferences, after-school programs will operate on their regular schedule at our elementary schools. Parents and guardians with elementary students who participate in specific clubs after school should check with their principal about that schedule in advance. 
 
There will be no after-school programs or clubs for middle school and high school students Thursday. Athletic activities will continue on their regular schedule.

Friday schedule 

All students will have a full day off Friday to accommodate parent-teacher conference schedules and professional development for district employees. Athletics activities will run on a schedule at the coach’s discretion.
