Falcons brings home bronze

The three Falcons who advanced to the Sectional Wrestling Meet pose at a recent practice.

If you see Tabriz Khetab (center) in the hall today, make sure to give him a high five and a huge congratulations!

The senior Falcon placed third (138 lbs.) in Saturday’s Section 2, Division 1 wrestling tournament! Khetab finished his season with an impressive 30-2 record.

Seniors Klue Thaw (right) and Hamidullah Faquuer (left) both advanced to the quarterfinals and Cross Vargas was a last-minute tournament qualifier from Albany High School.

Great job by all in the regular and post season! Everyone in the district (especially coaches Florio, Sitors and Fitzpatrick) are proud of you!
