The City School District of Albany will host a virtual budget-development update Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Community members will have an opportunity to learn more about the current status of the district’s budget planning for the 2023-24 school year. The annual budget vote will be May 16.
The May 16 vote also will include a referendum of approximately $9 million related to the Albany High School construction project. This referendum would have no impact on taxes.
You can visit our Budget section for more information, including links to budget-related presentations at last Thursday’s board meeting.
Please use our Feedback form to submit questions either in advance of, or during, Tuesday’s virtual meeting.
Two Board of Education seats also will be on the May 16 ballot – the terms of Vice President Anne Savage and member Damarise Mann expire at the end of June. You can visit our Board section for information about running for the school board.
