Turn in required paperwork for city summer jobs

Attention students who applied online for the City of Albany’s LIGHT Summer Youth Employment Program: Don’t forget you need to turn in your payroll packet and additional paperwork in-person by April 14 for your application to be considered.

You can bring the payroll packet and other required documents to the Summer Youth Employment Office in Bleecker Stadium. The office is open the following days and times:

  • Monday, April 3-Friday, April 7 – 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 8 (by appointment only; contact the office at (518) 438-1082 or syep@albanyny.gov)
  • Monday, April 10-Friday, April 14 – 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The deadline to register online was March 31. If you did not receive your payroll packet from the city, you can pick one up in your school office or download one here. You can get a list of required documents here.
