The Albany Marching Falcons are stepping up and stepping off at three parades this month.
The Niska-Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. May 20 at St. Kateri Tekawitha Parish on Union Street in Schenectady and finishes at Niskayuna High School on Balltown Road in Niskayuna.
The Maplewood Memorial Day Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. May 26 at the Maplewood Volunteer Fire Department, 61 Cohoes Road. The parade finishes there, as well.
The City of Albany Memorial Day Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. May 29 at the corner of Central Avenue and Ontario Street. The parade finishes at Academy Park, where there will be a small ceremony for Gold Star Mothers at the monument behind the building.
The Albany Marching Falcons are the marching band and color guard ensemble for the City School District of Albany.
