These kiddos are ready for kindergarten!
On Tuesday, students in the Jump Start program honed their math and language arts skills, with plenty of time for fun and games, at Giffen Memorial Elementary School.
Jump Start is a four-week summer program that helps prepare students for kindergarten. The program focuses on building social‐emotional and academic skills through hands‐on, engaging learning experiences. The program serves about 50 students from throughout the school district, half at Giffen and half at Pine Hills Elementary.
Take a look at a Facebook photo collage of a day in the life of the program. (You don't need a Facebook account to see the photos linked in the highlighted text. A window may appear that says, "To see more from Albany City Schools on Facebook, log on or create an account,” but you can dismiss it by clicking “not now.”)
