Students, staff, families and friends gathered at Edmund J. O’Neal School of Excellence on Thursday to celebrate the work they did in summer school.
Students in both the Dual Language Summer School and Newcomer Summer Academy showed off their projects about using their voices to make positive change in their home, school and community. Then everybody had lunch together and were treated to songs and poetry readings by students.
