Our boys’ indoor track and field student-athletes wrapped up their season with outstanding performances at the New Balance Nationals on Friday and Nike Nationals on Sunday.

At the New Balance Nationals, Samir Gardner achieved All-American status in the long jump, recording a mark of 23 feet, 4 inches, which earned him fifth place on the podium! Additionally, the sprint medley team set a new school record for the second time this season—this time with different runners—finishing with a remarkable time of 3:37.39! Nasief Smith, Adam Elia, Daaron Harrell and Noah Bizer placed 42 out of 108 teams. The 4x200 relay team, consisting of Smith, Harrell, Elia and Javion Gaddy, finished 82 out of 100

At the Nike Nationals, the 4x400 relay team of Harrell, Elia, Gardner and Bizer placed 24 out of 30 in the championship division.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Albany Booster Club and the families of our student-athletes for their generous donations, which made it possible for our Falcons to compete on the national stage. This experience is one they will cherish forever.

Congratulations to our student-athletes and Coach Gallagher—we are incredibly proud of your many triumphs on the track for the 2024-25 season!
