The art teachers who guide, inspire, organize and make it possible for our student artists to shine now have a - much deserved - spotlight on them!
The New York State Art Teachers' Association (NYSATA) Region 6 Members' Exhibition is being held from April 1-27 at Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga (402 Broadway) and four City School District of Albany educators have pieces in the show:
- Catherine Kuubetesuri (Albany International Academy): Shoulders
- Caitlin Sweet (North Albany Middle School): Silk Sheets, Yellow Roses Over Red and Mini Flower Series (one, two)
- Kara Tolmie (North Albany Middle School): Setauket Sunset
- Kate Wright (CSDA Fine Arts Supervisor): Threads of Wiawaka
This exhibition was put together and curated by City School District of Albany teacher and NYSATA Region 6 Secretary, Caitlin Sweet.
The NYSATA Exhibition is composed of 70+ works created by art educators from Albany, Schoharie, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington Counties.
Congratulations to our talented educators and thank you for doing all you do to promote creativity both inside and outside of the classroom.
