There are always conversations in many languages at Albany International Center, and Friday’s eighth-grade moving up ceremony was no exception!
Students recited the Pledge of Allegiance in English, Arabic and Spanish. Principal Rachel Stead read her message to students and families in English and Spanish, and it was translated into Arabic, Dari and Pashtu as well.
The 34 students who crossed the stage are officially now in high school. Some will attend Albany High School this fall, and others will continue their studies at Albany International Center.
Congratulations to all!
