We compete in the First Robotics competition. Students work togeher to design, build and program robotics to compete in various challenges, fostering innovations, teamwork and STEM skills. Ski Club is for all students who ski and/or snowboard and for those who wish to learn. Students meet in the Albany High parking lot and are bussed to Jiminy Peak.The Albany High School Ski Club is a student organization that provides opportunities for students to enjoy skiing and snowboarding trips during the winter season. The club promotes outdoor recreation, physical fitness and camaraderie among participants. This club is open to students of all skill levels and the club organizes regular trips to nearby ski resorts, offering a fun and active way to experience winter sports in a supportive environment.

Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica (SHH), or Spanish Honor Society, recognizes students' high achievements in the study of Spanish and promotes the continuity of Hispanic studies. This is a student honor society for which students must be eligible and to which students must apply. Students can connect with the club advisor on the meeting location, as it varies.

Students have the opportunity to develop their creativity, leadership and situational thinking with Albany High Mock Trial/ Speech and Debate team. In the courtroom and in competitions, students will be honing their public speaking skills, creating and defending a position or argument and building confidence. This club is based on simulations in the court room as a lawyer or a witness. Students work individually and collaboratively. Our team works with local lawyers and judges to create a case with a fact pattern that is provided by the NYS Bar association. Additional meeting times will be added once a trial is assigned to the group.
