Virtual college financial aid info night for seniors

Attention Albany High School seniors and their families: The Guidance Office will provide an overview of the college financial aid process at a virtual Financial Aid Night on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The event will take place in Google Meet. Please note that families can access the event by logging in through their student's school Google account; seniors also can get the link in their school counselor’s Google Classroom.

Families will learn about the following topics:

• The process and timeline for completing FAFSA – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid;
• Expected family financial contribution;
• Loans;
• Grants; and
• Work study.

Students and families will have a chance to ask questions of the presenter, Mary Lawyer, associate vice president for enrollment management at Siena College.
