Summer school begins Monday, July 8
Attention seniors: If you haven’t had your senior portrait taken yet, you can make an appointment to get one in January.
Lifetouch/Prestige Portraits will be taking the portraits at school on school days between Jan. 10 and Jan.28, but you need to schedule a time at Prestigeportraits.com. If you don’t know the code (one was provided by email to all seniors), you can schedule your portrait by searching for our school name and entering your name exactly as it is in schooltool. You also can contact Discovery Academy Principal Julie Barber and she will provide your code.
There is no charge for the basic plan, which includes sitting for four to six poses for the yearbook and a choice of wearing a tuxedo shirt and jacket or a drape. The deluxe plan has a $25 sitting fee and includes 16-20 photos; you have a choice of wearing a cap and gown, tux shirt and jacket or drape, or an outfit of your choice (the outfit does not need to be gender specific). Junior ROTC cadets are welcome to wear a uniform with the deluxe package.
The studio will provide a tux shirt and jacket, a drape, and a cap and gown. If you want to wear the tux, wear a white tank top or T-shirt. If you want to wear the drape, wear a camisole or tank top that can be easily pushed off the shoulders.
