Teacher LaQuita Love presented pearls and sashes Wednesday to seniors who completed the cosmetology pathway at Albany High School’s Abrookin Career and Technical Center.
The pearls were gift; Love told her students she hopes they are the first of many they have in their lifetimes. Students will wear the sashes at graduation.
Between the knowledge gained in the classroom and the work hours they will have by summer’s end, Love’s students will be more than ready to take and pass the New York State cosmetology licensing exam!
