Starting Monday, a licensed contractor will undertake an asbestos abatement project in the athletics area of Albany High School.
You will see signs about the project around school. The work will continue through Aug. 9.
Asbestos abatement areas will be clearly marked and sealed off. The areas also will include a ventilation system to generate negative air so no air escapes, and independent third-party environmental monitoring.
