Student assists two other students in completing voter registration paperwork

The League of Women Voters of Albany County and the Albany High School MBK Club chapter teamed up Tuesday – National Voter Registration Day – to hold a voter registration drive for Albany High students who are United States citizens age 16 and up.

Although they can’t vote until they’re 18, the nearly 40 students who registered will be ready to go when they’re of age. Way to go!

A special shout out for their efforts goes to senior Luyanda Pieterse and Anne Erling, a member of the League of Women Voters’ Board of Directors and mom of two Albany High alums.
