Twinkie Challenge winners

The results are in!

More than two dozen students in Chef Lisa Valentine’s advanced culinary classes Albany High School took part in the Twinkie Challenge last Monday, using their creativity and a few kitchen staples to create gorgeous desserts.

In Culinary 3, Damario O’Connor took first, with Cassandra Colton-Heins in second and Rami Gillespie-Davis in third. All are seniors.

In Culinary 2, Kidisha Charles won first place, with Arianna Maxwell-Lambert taking second and Joseph Rizzo taking third. All are juniors.

The top finishers were awarded kitchen supplies. You can see Facebook photos of them with their creations.
