Music technology students network with the pros

Students in Kyle Albano's music technology classes at Albany High School traveled to New York City Wednesday to mix with recording industry pros at the AES New York Audio Engineering Convention.

Students attended workshops and networked with leading manufacturers and engineers who demonstrated the latest products.

AES is short for the Audio Engineering Society, the only professional society devoted exclusively to audio technology. The international organization promotes advances in audio and disseminating new knowledge and research.

Albany High is the first high school to ever attend this important industry conference!
