Family, friends and fans showed up Friday night to recognize the seniors on the girls’ basketball team before their home game against South Colonie.
The powerful squad - and last year’s section 2, Class AA champions - said goodbye and good luck to the following members of the Class of 2023:
• Taliyha Braxton
• Paige Cartwright
• Shonyae Edmonds
• Nevaeh House
• Zyaira Scott
• Amari Scott-Star
After an amazing run in the first half, the Falcons ultimately lost 54-61, with seniors Shonyae Edmonds scoring 13, Naveah House scoring 11 and sophomore guard, Azera Gates, sinking an impressive 17 points.
