District closed for Independence Day
Chemistry and cosmetology become one every day in Martha Bresonis’ Science of Cosmetology class. On Monday, her students spent time in the lab mixing up skin care products like lip scrub, sugar scrub, bath bombs, body butter, lip gloss, hair oil, scalp oil and facial toner from a variety of ingredients.
Students picked a spa product to make, researched the components required and devised their own formulas. They also packaged and made brochures about their products.
